At Junior Achievement of the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast, through our relevant, authentic, and experiential financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship programs, we are inspiring a generation to be financially capable and tenacious. The Florida counties we cover are: Palm Beach, Martin, Hendry, Indian River, and St. Lucie.

JA College Champions program connects nursing students with elementary children for financial education initiative

College students from Keiser University were given the unique opportunity to serve as educators for local elementary students through an innovative program called JA College Champions. Developed by Junior Achievement (JA), the program pairs college students with elementary students to impart crucial lessons on financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship.

Junior Achievement's Earth Week event took students on a virtual voyage through the marine industry, offering an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at various facets of marine craftsmanship and conservation. Presented by Palm Beach International Boat Show Gives Back, and supported by Waste Management and Keep Palm Beach Beautiful, the week-long event, from Monday, April 22nd to Friday, April 26th, featured daily 30-minute sessions led by industry experts.

JA Staff Visit Alaska to Provide Professional Development for Teachers on Financial Literacy, Career Readiness, and Entrepreneurship

Katie Thompson, Junior Achievement of the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast's Vice President of Education, and Erica Henn, Director of Elementary Programs, recently traveled across the country to collaborate with teachers in the Anchorage School District. Their mission was to integrate Junior Achievement's three main pillars—financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship—into classrooms to help equip students in Alaska with essential skills for their future.
