(WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.) — College students from Keiser University were given the unique opportunity to serve as educators for local elementary students through an innovative program called JA College Champions. Developed by Junior Achievement (JA), the program paired college students with elementary students to impart crucial lessons on financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship.
This mutually beneficial program not only excites the elementary students but also provides invaluable personal and professional development for the college participants.
"This program is a win-win for everyone involved," said Ashley Schroth, JA Elementary Programs Manager. "The college students get to sharpen their communication and leadership skills, while the elementary students gain access to important life skills that will set them up for future success."
