"It started out as a social activity," said Dr. Sanjay Gupta, a JA Alum. "As it turns out, over the year I learned about the financial world and things that I had never been exposed too before."

"Their isn't an exact age that parents think their kids should learn about financial literacy," said Dr. Gupta. "But I think the earlier the better."
Dr. Gupta had a natural fear, like a lot of kids, about speaking in front of an audience. "A lot of even how I speak today started at Junior Achievement. It was the first time I did it, he said.
