(WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.) — In January, two members of JAPBTC's Programs Team went to the 2024 3DE Summit in Atlanta to learn and get inspired. The three-day summit served as a dynamic platform for learning, inspiration, and the exchange of best practices among peers, providing a wealth of knowledge that has ignited a surge of innovative ideas poised to enhance the local 3DE by JA program at Lake Worth Community High School.
The summit's most impactful facet was the dedicated time spent brainstorming with the market team. Collaborative sessions, enriched by diverse perspectives, laid the foundation for inventive solutions.
Attendees delved into the varied approaches taken by other 3DE offices, turning the summit into a melting pot of ideas. The exchange of insights, showcasing both similarities and differences, nurtured a network of ideas and contacts for mutual support.
The 2024 3DE Summit not only served as a hub for learning but also sparked a vision for the future of education. As the team integrates these insights, there's a confident belief that the local 3DE by JA program will continually evolve, empowering students and equipping them for success in an ever-changing world. In the pursuit of continuous improvement, the commitment to delivering excellence in education remains steadfast. Anticipation is high as the team looks forward to sharing the fruits of these learnings with the wider community.
3DE was developed through a shared vision from leaders in education, business, and Junior Achievement. This collective of passionate and innovative individuals united around the belief that equitable access to high-quality education is the lever to economic mobility. With 90 percent of students in public schools, the focus was to develop public-private partnerships to systemically re-engineer education to better reflect the real world and prepare students for life beyond the classroom walls.
