On October 19, 2019, Junior Achievement of the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast held its 7th Annual Caribbean Wind Event at the Rybovich SuperYacht Marina and raised over $70,000.
The over 150 guests who attended were very generous in donating to the cause to help provide Junior Achievement programs for K-12 students in our schools.
“We hope our awesome guests and sponsors had a great time,” said Nadine Fite, event chair along with her husband David, and co-chairs Julia and Mark Wade. “The programs Junior Achievement provides are worth all the effort the committee did in making this a fabulous event.”
The evening’s breeze complimented the Caribbean Wind theme, and the reggae music of Aubrey Clement and the 1 Tribe Band floated over the water making it a memorable evening. The event was generously underwritten by The Esther B. O’Keeffe Foundation. The Stiles-Nicholson Foundation was a Cayman Island-level sponsor; and Fantastic Finishes and William Raveis South Florida were Caribbean Saint sponsors. Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County sponsored the valet; Junkanoo-level sponsors included Matrix Private Capital Group and Shutts. Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County was the Environmental Steward sponsor, while Bahamas-level sponsorships were secured by AGC Florida East Coast; Bernstein; Caler Donten Levine Cohen Porter & Veil; Mary Ann DuPont; Decorators Unlimited; EDS Air Conditioning; Kennedy Yachts; Malone Electrical Solutions; Marino Performance Motors; MP Design and Architecture; Palm Beach Capital; Triton Property Management; UBS; and Zachary von Gonten. Keys sponsors included Gordon & Partners; Henderson Insurance; Knight Corporations; and Valley National Bank.
